Signature Capture

EPASS has developed a fully integrated signature capture system for use in the showroom. It can be emailed to customers or builders so they can sign in their office at their leisure. It is also also good for the delivery staff on the road to capture customers' signatures.

This is different than the signature capture included in Mobile Technician where the signature is a detail line added as part of writing the work order. This is for the sales side of business so the customer can sign off on the complete job just like what you do at a rental car agency. You are presented with an image on a tablet with the complete invoice visible, all the checkboxes, signature areas, and terms and conditions, etc.

Customers can sign off on quotations, sign again each time the invoice changes, and also sign off at the end when the delivery is completed. Each and every time the customer signs a new copy of the document, it is saved. You can have different versions for quotes, in store acceptance, and deliveries etc.

All of this is custom programmed to your specific needs.

Signatures or initials are all sourced through misc. lines, labor lines or comment lines.

Both the miscellaneous and labor tables have signature comments. This means, every time you add the misc. or labor code to an invoice, the appropriate signature will be triggered.

In the comment table, you define if the signature is actually a signature or just initials.

Below are a couple signature systems designed for Yale and Goemans.

Once the customer has filled in all the checkboxes, signed and accepted the document, it will be saved to the documents tab of the EPASS invoice, and an entry is written to the notepad. You can print this for the customer, if desired.

You can also email a link to the signature document so a customer could sign it from home, and it will work exactly as it would from inside the store.

This system requires a connection to the database and has been limited for use as a delivery signature capture system because you do not always have a signal.
